CRS Auto Service Centre ("CRS Auto", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details and your message. Our web host may also record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in server logs.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you've asked about.
- To keep a record of correspondence about work on your vehicle.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a transactional email provider, and this website is hosted by a third-party hosting company on behalf of our web agency. These providers process data only to deliver those services. We do not otherwise share your personal information unless required by law.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use basic analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use it. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. The embedded map on our contact page is provided by Google and is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and thereafter as required for our business records.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, email shaun@crsautorepairs.co.za or call 083 596 8986. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
