Meet the owner

Hi, I'm Shaun — the face behind CRS Auto.

"When you bring your car to CRS Auto, you're not just another customer; you're supporting a local business that genuinely cares about the work we do."

What began with a passion for cars and quality workmanship grew into a business built on honest service, reliability, and helping people get back on the road with confidence.

Tips from the workshop

A little advice that saves a lot of money.

A tray of sockets and tools in the CRS Auto workshop

How much can a service save you?

A lot more than it costs. Fresh oil, filters and a proper look-over catch small problems while they're still small — before a R400 part becomes a R14 000 repair.

A stack of tyres in the CRS Auto workshop

How's your tyre tread looking?

Check the tread-depth indicators between the grooves. As a quick guide:

  • 3mm+ — good, keep an eye on it
  • 2–3mm — plan to replace soon
  • Under 1.6mm — unsafe and illegal, replace now
An alternator on the bench at CRS Auto

Slow to start on cold mornings?

That's usually a battery or alternator on its way out — and it rarely gives much warning. Pop in for a quick check before it leaves you stranded in a parking lot.
